We offer silver-plated copper wire (so-called silver-plated) on a regular basis
DSM silver plated copper wires
We offer silver-plated copper wires (silver plating) in the soft state (DSM) made in accordance with BN-85/3051-01; ASTM B298-12(2017) On individual orders, we make silver-plated copper wires (silver plating) of other diameters in the range of 0.4 ÷ 4 mm in the soft or hard state and with parameters agreed with the customer.
Silver-plated copper wires, depending on the customer’s needs, are wound on spools or sold in coils.
Advantages of silver-plated copper wire:
- Silver-plated copper ut is used for high-temperature cables.
- Silver-plated copper ut is used for high-temperature cables.
- Silver has higher electrical conductivity than nickel and tin,
- Exhibits better performance with higher transmission frequencies (skin effect) and has a favorable effect on electrical performance
- It withstands higher temperatures and is not damaged at sub-zero temperatures
- It is also used as a material for making artistic jewelry
Diameter range:
4.00 mm to 0.016 mm
Range of electroplating:
- 1.0 micron silver plating in accordance with ASTM B 298
- silver plating 0.3 to 20 microns
- 1% to 20% silver plating in relation to the cross section according to customer requirements
