All soldering materials meet European standard's requirements and lead free solders are compliant with European Directives RoHS and WEEE. Soft solders are alloys with low melting temperature point. The most popular alloy is tin and lead alloy, with additives of other metals (e.g. antimony, silver, copper, bismuth, cadm, indium, zinc)

Other alloys used for soldering are produced on basis of tin-copper, tin-silver, tin-silver-copper, tin-antimony, tin-zinc. At the present more and more popular become lead free soft solders, which are much more enviromentally-friendly. We offer materials for many diferent technologies:

Lead-free solders

Lead-free alloys generally are characterized by a bit higher melting temperature, higher surface tension and weaker wetting than the corresponding tin-lead solders. The result is that soldered components are exposed to greater thermal stress during soldering and demand slightly modified methods and tools.
Popular lead-free solders are tin-copper alloys - Sn97Cu3 and Sn99Cu1. These are modern alloys manufactured in accordance with EN 29453 norm. These alloys are widely used in electronics, food and engineering industry and plumbing industry, and due to their physical properties are a popular and good alternative to Sn60Pb40 and Sn63Pb37.
A suitable addition of silver (Ag) and copper (Cu) to tin (Sn) allows to improve significantly the wetting and guarantee the proper conductivity at soldering spot. Therefore lead-free solders usually consist of suitably composed tin, silver and copper alloys.
