LEAD SHEETS, STRIPS, FOILS AND PLATES

The lead sheets, plates and foils are rolled of soft lead Pb99,97. They can also contain a few percent of antimony. Standard dimensions are given In a table below:

We can adjust dimension of lead sheets, foils and plater to customers needs within our technological possibilities There is a possibility to cut lead plates according to a delivered project, so that the radiological shield is tight and there are no discards.

In most of X-ray rooms there are used sheets with thickness 0,5 or 1,0mm, however the precise measurement of radiation intensity (which determines thickness of a shield) should be done by the qualified radiology safety officer.
